“HR MISSION 2023” is the prestigious National Award annually conferred by the AIDP Foundation – Italian Association for Personnel Management. This year the award in the “Health and Safety” category was given to Elena Galli, in recognition of the project she carried out at our headquarters as Fractional Manager for Innovation in the Human Resources field, with the aim of promoting a healthy and safe working environment for all Collaborators, where everyone’s contribution is transformed into innovation and growth. The project involved the Operations Area Team in an innovative analysis of sentiment and ideation, using the #giocoserio approach: an in-depth exploration of the needs of our Collaborators, starting from tools such as Lego, to give voice to needs and expectations and generate proposals and solutions to the critical issues they face day by day. The proposals that emerged from the analysis were detailed by number of reports, immediate feasibility, implementation costs and concrete benefits, paving the way for various projects on which we worked throughout 2023, thanks to the participation and contribution of the entire team, led by Andrea Aicardi, with an approach of experimentation and rapid prototyping of organizational solutions. There were many ideas that emerged and the road to realizing them all is still long, but we will continue to work with enthusiasm on these projects, putting People at the center of organizational innovation processes. We thank AIDP – Italian Association for Personnel Management for this important recognition; Elena Galli for the excellent collaboration that made it possible and all our Collaborators and Managers for their active participation in ongoing projects. We will continue to invest and promote Health and Safety in GHEPI, keeping alive the spirit of innovation that distinguishes us.

The 9th edition of the 2023 Responsible Innovators Award promoted by Emilia Romagna Region, recorded excellent participation with 80 projects admitted from across the region, promoted by companies of all sectors and sizes, social cooperatives, professionals, schools and training centers. Emilia-Romagna Region intends to enhance the commitment of the entrepreneurial system which, in coherence with the Charter of Principles of Corporate Social Responsibility of the Region, contributes to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals of the UN 2030 Agenda, taking on a sustainability integrated vision, through the innovation of processes, systems, partnerships, training actions, technologies and products. “DESIGNING CIRCULAR FUTURE” is the title of the Project that we presented by choosing among the 4 strategic goals indicated in the “Pact for Work and the Climate” the one called “REGION OF KNOWLEDGE AND KNOW HOW” adding best practices also referring to the GED Award “Gender Equality and Diversity” for the best projects relating to actions for equal opportunities and to the “YOUZ” Award for initiatives that provide professional development paths for young people capable of accelerating their career paths. We are proud that our project won the “GED – GENDER EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY AWARD”, assigned during the ceremony held on Nov 29 in Bologna at the Fondazione Golinelli, with the motivation: “GHEPI is a production company that has invested in technical skills without neglecting the contribution of gender, involving Female Students of #STEM disciplines in the development of more sustainable productions”. The Project began with a #Hackathon, intended exclusively at Engineering and Industrial Design Female Students, consisting of two challenges aimed at identifying solutions to design and produce more sustainable and circular products with polymeric materials thanks to the structural lightweighting that allows to reduce CO2 emissions. It then continued with a DesignThinking course for all the Students and curricular internships for two of them. At GHEPI the role of women has always been encouraged and valued, at all levels. For this reason, the GED Award takes on the meaning of confirmation and recognition of a specific corporate management style. We thank the Regione Emilia-Romagna, ART-ER S. cons. p. a., the University Professors, the participants Students and all the People who contributed to the realization of the Project and made this extraordinary result possible.

To answer the requests received from some customers, already involved or interested in sustainability projects, we organized a specific event. Fabio Storchi and Filippo Di Gregorio, President and Director of Unindustria Reggio Emilia, gave us Graziano Pompili’s “Homo Faber” Artwork as acknowledgment for our work. President Storchi explained the meaning of the Artwork, in the artist’s words: “I tried to express in an essential and very simple way the industrious man who shows what he knows and can do; a house that means building, from his own nest in the skyscraper; a boat that embodies travel and the discovery of new horizons. ” In the photos together with the President and the Director: the founders (Partners), Nemesio Gherpelli and Maria Gabriella Pinotti, the daughters Elisabetta, Angela and Mariacristina (Partners), Claudio Galli (Board member). [vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]As part of the celebrations for our 50th anniversary, we are pleased to announce the opening of the art exhibition: The new shape of plasticS, a solo photographic exhibition by Francesca Artoni, curated by Gaia Bertani and Nicla Ferrari, in collaboration with the cultural association Gommapane Lab, included in the Circuito OF, Fotografia Europea 2022. The new shape of plasticS presents and represents the story of fifty years of life of Ghepi s.r.l., fifty years of people, work, family and company, told through images that from the past lead us to the present, to the future, through continuous research and development. The exhibition will be inaugurated Friday 7 May 17.30 at Reggio Emilia Technopole, Piazzale Europa 1 and will be open from Monday to Friday, from 29 April to 12 June 2022, from 8.30 to 17.30.
