Italy or China?

In many years of operations, following our Customers specific requests, we have established important partnership with selected and qualified Suppliers both in Italy and in China to be able to offer the best possible service.

The decision on Italian or Chinese Supplier is based on some different parameters:

Our collaboration with Chinese Suppliers began in 2008 upon specific request from some Customers. We conducted scouting with direct on-site visits and selected some Partners in the Shenzhen area. It is a highly qualified district in the construction of injection molding molds present in the supply chains of many European and American multinationals in the automotive, electronics, etc. sectors.

Chinese companies are on average larger than our Italian suppliers and this allows us to manage even projects of 20-30 molds in a short time.
The delivery time by sea is obviously a little longer but is usually used by Customers to carry out tests on samples and homologates the products. For specific needs, Customers choose the option of returning the molds by air.
Despite the distance, our Chinese Suppliers’ service flexibility, responsiveness and competence have led to remarkable results and great Customers appreciation, as for the Italian Suppliers.

Molds are complex equipment. For the Customers, they constitute the investment from which the project to develop a new product starts.
To guarantee a long life to the molds in the best operating conditions, and to also obtain high levels of products quality, it is important to carry out adequate and periodic ordinary maintenance.
For this purpose, we have invested in a specific technology for mold cleaning consisting of an ultrasonic washing system.

1 Wash 💧
This phase takes place in a first tank, with three combined actions:
- ultrasonic, which has a non-invasive mechanical effect;
- detergent (with water-based products);
- thermal (at a temperature of 70°).

 

2 Rinse 🌀
It takes place in a second tank with the aim of removing residues and detergents using compressed air.

 

3 Passivation ⭐
It is a phase of protection of all the surfaces of the mould. It also avoids the application of protective or lubricating oils maintaining excellent molding conditions. It takes place in a third tank, through immersion in a specific liquid at 70°.

 

4 Drying 🌬
It is carried out in the appropriate cell with the introduction of compressed air.
