ADACI training event in GHEPI on the purchasing of thermoplastic materials components
“Sometimes a buyer knows only superficially the production processes used by suppliers to manufacture components. Materials, machinery, equipment, setup and production times, real time to market, lot numbers are just a few aspects of a production process, which vary from supplier to supplier and which the buyer needs to know. The goal of this meeting is to give buyers the technical and commercial skills to choose a thermoplastic injection-molding supplier and to properly arrange and manage the supply contract, aware of the risks that this technology implies”.

The workshop consisted of several training sessions on the injection molding technology by Ghepi’s Managing Director, Mariacristina Gherpelli, and Ghepi’s Head of Project Development, Andrea Aicardi, followed by the visit to Ghepi’s the technical injection molding departments and mold shop to experience directly the specific machining technologies and observe their features and criticalities.
The final part of the workshop was held by Claudio Bruggi, Purchasing Director of Vortice Elettrosociali Spa, with a training on the management of contracts and supplies in this sector.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
