2. Compliance status

The websites https://www.ghepi.it

, https://www.ghepi.com and https://www.ghepi.de

are currently:

Partially compliant with the accessibility requirements set out by the applicable legislation and with WCAG 2.1 Level AA, due to the non-conformities described below.

3. Non-accessible content

The main non-conformities identified concern:

  1. Alternative text for images (“alt” attribute)

    • On some pages, images do not have an alternative text description, or the description is not sufficiently meaningful for users who rely on assistive technologies (e.g. screen readers).

    • This may limit the use of visual content for people with visual impairments or difficulties in perceiving images.

  2. Colour and contrast

    • The websites integrate an accessibility tool that allows users to change colour schemes and contrasts in real time, improving content readability according to individual visual needs.

    • Where default contrast levels are not fully optimal for all users, it is possible to adjust the view using this tool to obtain a more accessible display.

4. Accessibility improvement plan

Ghepi Srl has started a gradual accessibility improvement process for its websites, with priority given to:

  • reviewing and completing the alternative texts for all significant images;

  • regularly checking new content to ensure it complies with accessibility requirements;

  • monitoring the correct functioning of the tool dedicated to colours and contrasts.

The completion of the activities needed to remedy the current non-conformities is planned by the end of the year 2026.

5. Evaluation method

The accessibility of the websites has been evaluated through:

  • the use of automated accessibility checking tools, in particular the “Ally” plugin by Elementor;

  • manual checks on the main pages and functions, with specific focus on images, texts, page structure and navigation.

Date of first evaluation: 10 November 2025

6. Feedback, reporting issues and requests for information

Ghepi Srl considers accessibility an ongoing process and invites users to report any problems or difficulties experienced while using the websites.

Users can:

  • send feedback and requests for clarification through the contact channels indicated in the “Contacts” section of the websites;
