As part of our development plan linked to Industry 4.0 we are taking part in a PhD project of the Department of Sciences and Methods of Engineering of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia for the testing of COBOTs in the injection molding process and related post-processing.
Compared to other industrial robots, COBOTs have the great added value of working together with man, without the need for protective barriers and carrying out specific tasks, “learning” directly in the field.
With the application of Collaborative Robots we are aiming at replacing repetitive and weary tasks for People, increasing overall efficiency of production processes and improving product quality.
