GHEPI participated in the #openREI seminar “Collaborative robots at the service of companies: efficiency 4.0”, during which our managing director Mariacristina Gherpelli spoke about GHEPI’s experience with Collaborative Robots.
In fact, we are verifying the applicability of COBOTs to the molding and post-molding processes with 3 main objectives:
1. Replace repetitive-wearing tasks, increasing the efficiency of production processes and the final quality of products
2. Integrate the presence of a fixed Operator in the work out of cycle time
3. Reduce the bio-mechanical overload of the upper limbs due to some manual operations to increase workers’ health and safety levels.
